From the vibrant street food stalls of Mexico City, to the electric pulse of Miami's nightlife, 8 Shots Cantina embodies a story of passion, travel, and a twist on tradition.

Self taught chef Miguel Cuevas moved from Acapulco to North Carolina. He mastered the rich, complex, and intense flavors of Mexican cuisine, and now he brings something new to the table, to push beyond the borders of his familiar flavors, and the warmth and authenticity of traditional Mexican hospitality.

8 Shots Cantina is more than a restaurant, it’s a place where tradition and innovation dance together; it is a celebration of two cultures finding common ground. It's a place where the rich history of Mexican cuisine is honored and reimagined, and captured in every bite and every sip. A story told one shot at a time.
